Where to find Rawnsley Park

Rawnsley Park Station is located 430-kilometres north (around 4.5-hours drive) of Adelaide, along sealed roads.  Overlooking the southern side of Wilpena Pound, Rawnsley Park Station is ideally situated for exploring South Australia's beautiful Flinders Ranges.  It also makes the ideal stop-off for those travelling further north into the Outback.

Famous for its dramatic scenery, ancient mountain ranges, rich Aboriginal heritage, character-laden country towns and abundant native wildlife, the Flinders Ranges is ideal for short breaks or longer stays.  The region offers visitors a taste of the Australian Outback within a comfortable drive of a capital city, making it ideal for short breaks or longer stays.  In fact, many of the growing number of people who are choosing to travel around Australia spend a week or two in the Flinders Ranges.

The nearest service town to Rawnsley Park Station is Hawker, located approximately 30-kilometres south.  Here you'll find a good general store (with ATM facilities), galleries, several pubs and cafes, a petrol station, visitor information and public conveniences.
