Advanced Ecotourism Accreditation for Eco-villas
Rawnsley Park is proud to achieve Advanced Ecotourism Certification for the eco-villas. This achievment reflects the commitment Rawnsley has to working towards a more sustainable future. Advanced Ecotourism is the highest level of certification in Ecotourism Australia's certification program. Our Ecotourism Officer, Julia Randall, is pleased to see the eco-villas receive such a high level accreditation and is working on developing other ecotourism products at Rawnsley Park Station.
Ecotourism Australia defines ecotourism as: "ecologically sustainable tourism with a primary focus on experiencing natural areas that fosters environmental and cultural understanding, appreciation and conservation".
