Welcome to Rawnsley Park Station

Thank you for inquiring about our new Flinders by Foot five-day and three-day treks. Each trek is accompanied by an experienced guide/guides to ensure you get the best out of your walk. The Flinders is an ancient landscape and offers some of Australia's best wilderness and wildlife.

Trip Details

The Flinders Ranges are one of the great walking destinations in Australia. Our walks are suited to people with good walking fitness and who can cover up to 21 kilometres a day. You will need only a day pack and there will be plenty of time for breaks and photographs.

At times we will have some reasonably tough sections to climb, but the views are a fantastic reward for the effort. The longest day will be about eight hours, with a climb to the top of the 1170m-high St Mary Peak, the highest of the mighty Wilpena Pound ramparts.

Itineraries are flexible and different walks can be substituted, depending on the fitness of the group.

Walks start each day from Rawnsley Park Station. Accommodation will be in comfortable holiday units (Eco villa upgrades available), and dinners at the station's popular Woolshed Restaurant. Continental breakfasts will be supplied in your room each morning and lunches (salad and meat rolls) will be supplied along with morning and afternoon snacks. Dietary requirements will be catered for.
