Travelling along the scenic Wirrealpa Road, you'll explore the eastern side of the ranges, taking in breathtaking views and rugged landscapes that showcase the region at its most picturesque. Seasonal conditions often bring an abundance of native flowers, including the iconic Sturt's Desert Pea, South Australia's floral emblem.
Arriving in the historic township of Blinman, enjoy lunch at the iconic Blinman Hotel before descending underground on a guided tour of the Blinman Heritage Mine. Discover the stories of the miners who helped shape the region and gain insight into the area's rich copper mining history.
The return journey includes time to browse Wadna, an Aboriginal culture and art gallery, before continuing through more spectacular Flinders Ranges scenery. Keep your camera ready for a stop at the striking landscape feature known as the Great Wall of China.
